Welcome to RPG Blokes. Today's episode is a short one. We're talking about RPG Blokes Plus, our new subscriber service for anyone who wants to help keep the lights on, keep the dice rolling, and get even more of the good stuff. So if you've enjoyed what we do so far, this is the best way to be a part of it. I just want to talk to you all about it. I don't think I've explained exactly what it is, so this could be like almost a QA where you're learning as RPG blokes what you're trying to charge people to experience.

So why are we doing this? Running the podcast is never going to be a profit enterprise for us, but there are there are costs. So we're looking at a very cheap subscription. Uh our core content goes out for free and it it goes out on a public feed. What it is is getting live play, additional live play, not just the Lichmaster. You get a new RPG bloke. He's only going to be primarily on the RPG Blokes Plus service, but we'll introduce you to a new RPG bloke as well.

Yeah. Is it gonna be like predominantly gameplay? It is gonna be 75% live gameplay. Okay, I like that because that means that I get to play games. The fact that the fact that you that it's being recorded and broadcast and someone might be paying a small amount for it is neither here nor there to me. It's just another opportunity to because I've been thinking recently, it's like I remember saying when we were talking about you know what I get out of this hobby that a three, four hours a week I think is enough. That might be changing. And then, you know, from talking to you guys, it has made me realise that I'm really scratching the surface on systems that I've played as well. Like I've played like maybe four or five systems, and I sort of feel like kind of veteran-y, and I'm like, no, that's bullshit. You'll end up like John, you're not gonna find game every day.

Yeah, if we had the um free league stuff, the alien RPG, they've released a new edition called the Evolved Edition. Delve into a bit of that. I mean, that's only just coming out, so that'd be fresh off the press, as it were.

The Lichmaster Live, which is gonna be the continuation after our session zero. So we're gonna do that scenario with our alter ego characters. These alter ego characters exist within the Warhammer old world at the moment, but perhaps if we were to play DD, we might recreate them in the in a DD context. Who knows? I mean. Oh yeah, you're just never gonna forget.

And just to be clear, we're never gonna forgive either. Okay. Um we're gonna put up a um a Discord access, a private subscriber channel where we can provide more material and resources and notes um in relation to uh what we're putting up on the RPG Boats Plus feed, and we'll obviously be a little bit more um open to communication through through there for any of our subscribers. We can also send things to you via email if you don't want to go on Discord, it doesn't matter. Uh so other things we'll be considering. Stephen's Baldur Gate 3 live play. I mean, what better way to spend 63 hours a week?
