Mark is the founder and chair of one of London’s largest weekly roleplaying communities, a passion project he started with Stephen and Jon over six years ago, and he’s been a GM for more than 40 years. He’s a dedicated fan of systems like D&D, and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (WFRP) though he went so far as to create his own “4.5e” version after finding WFRP 4e’s new rules lacking, determined to keep the rich content playable on his own terms. Mark also enjoys darker, narrative-driven games like Call of Cthulhu and Free League’s Blade Runner and Vaesen, for which he’s just finishing a two-year campaign. Away from the table, Mark works in graphic design, balances life as a part-time house husband, enjoys tarot, and finds peace walking in ancient woodlands. In character, he transforms into his alter ego Wēland, a ranger inspired by the spirit of Robin Hood, mixed with the rough-edged charm of Will Scarlet from the ‘80s classic Robin of Sherwood.
